Fork and amorto of ZX10R adaptable on zx9r 2000

Hello, I want to change my fork xz9r of 2000 by putting a fork ZX10R. The changes required are certainly complicate to do, but what I have the most concerns is whether the behavior of the motorcycle may change bad? In the wake I want to put amorto. Are there any mechanics, handymen, or any other rider who could advise me? Thank you in advance.

Rate I will tour the breakage if it is more or less compatible. see fleas or ads ... As against the amorto I thought it was more complicated than this brief as mieu. question, but stability, reliability ... is that it may change worse?

Well, my contribution: several point above all to make this kind of adaptation, first thing, I do not think the pivot of the fork is different between the two models, the diameters of steering columns are in general more or less standard in the present mechanism. Ditto when the bindings of brake calipers, those of the 10R being radial, you can always make you machine an adapter to switch from radial to the Standard, not hard to find. The critical point might be the height of the fork itself, though I think the difference should not be so huge. The diameter for the bracelets could pose more problems against, when fixing the front wheel, the diameter of the axis must be higher than can check too. After when the behavior of the bike, I do not think that a change of fork will induce a change of behavior (no hydraulics in any case, my job is almost), possibly in geometry and again, in my opinion the most glaring difference is in the rigidity and precision of the nosewheel. When the rear shock, the distance may be completely different as congestion, the more tense as mentioned above has changed. Bon courage!

Believe in changing for me "I think" get a better grip and especially for braking which is rotten to the carente zx9r. That's why I said that taking pieces of the ZX10R is the simplest. But it is the source of the pieces is very important, I did not envis Gauffre me on a track 250. In short it is mainly for technical and I posing these questions and not for the provenance of the pieces, but thank you all for your advice as well in this area. So if you still want m'eguiller on the difficulties I may encounter and to adjust the fork and amorto but also the reliability that will be with pleasure that I take note.

Thank you for this information. Otherwise I have the option of taking master cylinder, discs, calipers (in BREMBO, Beringer ...) pout forward and take amorto (Ohlin, bitubo ...) but after I information I impression that little thing near the 2 solutions coutent also expensive!

'lut 1. Fork reversed on the 10R, the normal 9R, va y avoir du boulot, especially since I'm not sure the shaft is the same diameter. Ca sent le te fork to measure. 2. IMHO, the 10R fork too stiff for the 9R, it is a piecemeal fashion in all directions. 3. 9R heard that does not slow down, it leaves me dreamy and makes me laugh gently. What you like discs / pads? The hoses are in what state, they are etriers netoyes, the circuit is it bleed, and so on. ? The Kawa are excellent freineuses, platelets and disks of the mark are simply among the best in the market. Whatever the model that I had ZXR (6, 7RR, 9, 12) brakes have always been perfect, even on circuits binding.

Okay for the fork brake issue but it is really not that. The discs are of uses well above normal limits, hose aviations I recently cleaned the etriers including change a liquid piston repeatedly DOT 4 and 5, but also different brands (Motul, Ipon ...) ditto for the pads I have different brands and everything I did did not help, when I ride seuelement on this quiet road and go but now that I'm going faster. after all that I said that the brakes were really unnecessary on the zx9r. not in normal use, but that the attack on the winding road or circuit I frailleurs the tape after a few laps the brakes let go, says the best way to make the brakes more. Sorry that you do not agree but I do not know how to make it go.

Hi buddy, I did not think! I have not the normal tunes

If this is what I do think after what I saw mini (master cylinder, discs and calipers) I draw for 2500
