the radiator is emptied by the overflow

Tag: Euipment Advice Maintenance

Hello everybody, I have a trouble when I start my bike (2003 Triumph 600TT), few seconds after the heater starts to empty the overflow hose. Do you know what type of failure and this may be an approximate cost? I checked starting at the radiator and open a few bubbles rise from the interior of the radiator, the fluid level drops, then rises and overflows. I also removed the candles and see if the fluid is expelled during the startup and nothing happened (no coolant). Can you give me your opinion or guide me please? Sylvain.
Hello it is possible that the head gasket, but it is possible that the calostat that this is in the hose or the water pump, which no longer opens and is the liquid overflows.

if CALORSTAT no longer opens, there is no reason why the liquid overflows.
if the circuit because it does not fesant when the pump inch water coolant tendency has overflowed.
but can you tell true for the head gasket because the two faults are the same SIMPTOME.

precisely the circuit does not form the circuit does not rise to the pressure CALORSTAT is firm so no water circulation, water mill is not entering the rest of the circuit. the water pump receiving water from the bottom of the radiator (chilled water) pushes water into the CALORSTAT (and not to the rest of the circuit), which once opened laiserra passes water in the mill. if pressure is that the cuts happening in the circuit fleet
meacoulpa ok then seal cucu
"few bubbles rise from the interior of the radiator" Check held in pressure head gasket which will tell whether the change or not. "the liquid level drops, then rises and overflows" which is the CALORSTAT delane therefore must be changed.
Hello everybody, Thank you for your answers. You are really cool. I do not know how to verify that the required pressure head gasket. Can you again give me your lights please? Thank you in advance. Sylvain.
While news of the tt?
